In the News

“Speed and power however are a common commodity these days. It is with braking and handling where the Senna charges forward. Almost 1800lbs of downforce is generated at speed by the summation of the aerodynamic surfaces. While the exterior styling can be described as divisive, there is no dissent to the fact that all of the various elements serve the explicit purpose of channeling the airflow around and even through the car.

Hypercars are themselves hyperbolic in nature, and the Senna follows suit by sporting quite possibly the largest rear wing to grace the backside of a road legal automobile. With all of this air wrangled under the will of the aerofoils, it should come as no surprise that the braking forces delivered by the McLaren are immense. In conjunction with the Formula 1 derived 390mm carbon ceramic brakes all around, the Senna holds the record stopping distance from 200kph at just 100 meters- Truly a staggering feat. A complete carbon construction has further aided in keeping the weight down to just around 2,800lbs. Altogether, the Senna is a thoroughly responsive driver’s delight”
